Dental Technology
At dentalhouse, we use modern dental technology to help effectively treat dental issues and manage your family's oral health.

Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
At dentalhouse, we leverage technology to help us plan treatments and ensure your dental appointments are as efficient as possible. We can display digital x-rays and scans on monitors in our treatment rooms to show you any issues in your mouth, and guide you through your treatment plan.
We're on a mission to provide patients with efficient dental care, and keep them fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us achieve this.
Digital X-Rays
Instead of traditional photographic x-ray film, the dentists at our Toronto, Oakville and Belleville locations use digital x-rays to produce detailed computer images of the teeth and gums. They also capture other oral structures and conditions. This allows your dentist to examine parts of the mouth that won't be visible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Using panoramic x-rays, your dentist can capture a single image of your entire mouth - a flat representation of your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. At our Toronto, Oakville, Kingston and Belleville locations, panoramic x-rays are often used to help plan treatments.
Dental Lasers
The dentists at our Oakville location use lasers (extremely focused light beams) to perform a range of hard and soft tissue procedures with less pain and fewer medical interventions. Lasers are useful tools when we need to remove decayed or overgrown tissue, reshape gums and more.
Digital Impressions
The dentists at our Oakville location use optical scanning devices to produce computer-generated replicas of your mouth's hard and soft tissues. With these devices, we can capture extremely accurate data and create digital dental impressions in just minutes, without requiring traditional impression materials.
Oral Cancer Screening Device
The VELscope® is a handheld, wireless oral cancer screening device that helps the dentists at our Oakville location to identify abnormalities and diseases in the mouth, such as cancerous and pre-cancerous lesions.
Automatic Appointment Reminders
Automatic appointment reminders allow us to remind our patients of upcoming appointments - another to facilitate clear communication between you and your dentist, and help you stay on top of your oral health. With automatic appointment reminders, you can receive email or phone reminders about your dental appointments.
TRIOS Scanner
The TRIOS impression scanner takes incredibly detailed, 3D impressions of your mouth.
With this technology, the dentists at our Oakville location can adjust your Invisalign treatment in real time, store data digitally and show you your expected results.
CEREC Same-Day Restorations
At our Oakville location, our dentists use CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) to fabricate and place ceramic dental crowns, inlays and onlays in a single appointment.
