Crowns & Bridges

These restorative dental treatments can help to restore the normal function and appearance of your smile.

Crowns and bridges can help fill space left by missing teeth. They can also return your ability to chew and speak properly, and help maintain your natural facial shape.

By repairing structural issues such as missing or damaged teeth using a dental crown or bridge, the dentists at each of our five locations can help restore your smile – and your oral health.

Dental Crowns

Hollow, artificial teeth are placed over an entire damaged or decayed tooth to restore its original size, shape and colour. Dental crowns improve the function, strength and appearance of your broken tooth, which may otherwise be lost.

Many materials, including metal and porcelain, can be used to make these strong restorations.

At our Oakville location, our dentists are able to fabricate and place same-day crown restorations using CEREC® (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics).

Dental Bridges

These natural-looking restorations 'bridge' the gap left by missing teeth, helping to restore your smile, in addition to the bite between upper and lower teeth.

Made of one or more artificial teeth, the dentist will affix the bridge on either side of this gap to fill the space.

A bridge helps to prevent your other teeth from shifting positions to fill the space, which could lead to other more serious issues such as misalignment and gum disease. With good care, this restoration can last for 5 to 15 years.
